The Objective
The cities illustrate a love story - one person from Auckland New Zealand, and one from San Fransisco California met and fell in love in New York City and have since lived between New York and London.

Each suit uses the theme of its city as subjects for Kings (famous landmark), Queens (local fauna), Jacks (emblematic birds) and the plant that shows the number value of the card.

The jokers feature some of the cities' more infamous fauna; New York's "Pizza Rat" and a drunk Kererū - a native New Zealand bird that often eats fermented berries to the point of belligerence and then needs to be nursed to health.
